Fight ends with stabbing at Millbrook Walmart

MILLBROOK, AL (WSFA) - Police say an ongoing feud between a group of people started with an altercation and ended with a stabbing at the Millbrook Walmart on Wednesday night.

Police were dispatched to the Walmart on Kelley Blvd. around 8 p.m. Wednesday to the scene of a fight. When they arrived, they located 32-year-old Marbury resident Aaron Wilcox suffering from two stab wounds to his upper torso.

The victim told authorities he was approached by two white males and a white female he'd had problems with in the past. The verbal altercation turned physical. The victim said that while he was fighting with one of the males, he felt a pain in the area of his ribs and stomach. The individuals then ran unto a nearby business before officers could arrive on the scene.

Wilcox was transported to a Montgomery hospital with serious to life threatening injuries. He is still listed in critical condition at this time.

Millbrook Police and Alabama State Troopers were able to locate the suspects inside the nearby business. Detectives have placed a 17-year-old white male juvenile under arrest for assault second degree. The juvenile has been charged as an adult and placed in the Elmore County Jail. The suspect's identification cannot be released until he has been certified as an adult by a judge.
